E0S Recall Campaign Information

Overview:

Due to original placement of the water splash protector in front of the spare tire or loss of the protector, water and high concentrations of road salt can reach the carrier and potentially cause corrosion to the cable.

In some cases, the spare is stowed under the vehicle, if corrosion occurs, it can cause the tire to separate from the vehicle, which can become a risk of a road hazard or crash.

What Happens:

Technicians will inspect the vehicle and replace the entire Spare Tire Carrier.

What to do:

Run the customer’s VIN in TIS to confirm the campaign.

Technicians will verify and inspect for recall. Replace the Spare Tire Carrier Assembly

Fill out the Recall Parts Order Form
