Open Showroom Visits

This section is primarily for management oversite.

This report will only show currently open showroom visits and should be updated by managers throughout the day. This KPI should always remain a 0 unless a customer currently working with a salesperson in the showroom.

However, if you currently have a customer in the showroom and you navigated away from their profile, you can quickly find the customer’s profile here.

Begin by clicking on the “Open Showroom Visits” hyperlink in the Key Performance Indicator widget on the Dashboard.

This will open the “Open Showroom Visits Dashboard”

Open Showroom Visits Dashboard Explained

1- The report will automatically default to the last 30 days.

If you would like to search by a specific sales representative, adjust the timeframe, or change the location, you can manipulate the report in this section.

2- Any adjustments you make in the first section to adjust the report will only take place if you click the view report button.

3- This column shows the sales rep’s name that is currently assigned to the customer.

4- This is a quick snapshot of the customer in the profile.

The blue hyper link will allow you to navigate to the full customer profile. You will need to open the customer profile to make adjustments other than updating the customer sales process. It will also show the vehicle the customer is working on if this has been updated within the customer profile.

5- This is the length of time since the customer has been checked into the dealership.

6- This is a quick link to the VinSolutions Desking tool.

7- Showroom Activity Section

By clicking the gray boxes next to the abbreviations you can update the customer showroom/sales process.

Abbreviations:

DM = Demo MT = Manager Turnover WU = Write Up WA = Walk Around TA = Trade Appraisal FT = Finance Turnover DS = Desking

8- Credit App Kiosk

You can have a customer fill out a credit application from this screen, however we do no currently use this at our dealership.

9- End Visit

From here you can end the customer visit and fill out exit notes
