What is ToyotaCare?

ToyotaCare is a prepaid maintenance program that comes with the purchase of a new or certified vehicle. Please see the chart below for a breakdown of each of the programs.

Customers can utilize these programs as they wish, but they operate similar to a vehicle warranty. The plan for lasts for the amount of time associated with the plan.

Q: What is the grace period for ToyotaCare Products?

A: 30 days or 999 miles, whichever comes first.

Q: Can I use my Certified ServiceCare or extended ServiceCare at any dealership? Even if it’s not a Toyota?

A: All Toyota extended service plans can be redeemed at any Toyota Dealership. They can not use this at any non-Toyota Location.

Q: The customer just came in two months ago, but the task says the customer is already due again.

A: It sure does, check TIS again, the customer is probably off track with their service plan and needs to come in again soon.

When should a customer redeem their ToyotaCare?

The initial 2 Year / 5 Service plan must be redeemed every 4.8 months or in 5,000 mile intervals. This is based on which event comes first.

What do we do about it?

We communicate with our customers and provide them offers to help make their experience better. We use the communication channels available to us in addition to our digital advertising plans.
